I spent the first week of 2017 touring about Palm Springs. It is a fantastic town full of amazing mid-century architecture, stunning views and wonderful people.
I snapped this pic from the parking lot at the Palm Springs Visitors Center. The landscape is other worldly.
I stayed in the Albert Frey room at the Orbit In
Check out all that fabulous decor!
It was so great curling up with a book at night in front of a warm fire.
I checked out the MetaModern exhibition at the Architecture and Design Center
The Palm Springs Art Museum surpassed my expectations.
I loved their piece by Dale Chihuly.
My hotel was in the Historic Tennis Club District and each building was just as beautiful as the next one.
There were so many amazing antique and vintage shops. I spotted this A-frame architect’s model at Stewart Galleries.
When this is the exterior, you need to stop and pay a visit to Dazzles.
I had a chance to pop into my hotel’s other location, The Hideaway, and loved their lounge.
I really can’t wait to visit Palm Springs again as I felt that I only saw a snippet of this great town. I did take an amazing architecture tour but really wish I had the chance to walk around those communities as there is just so much to see.
